230 Kitchen Design

Phase one of our kitchen remodel is complete! This has probably been one of the most ambitious projects we have taken on yet. We have made a massive 8' long by 4' 4" wide concrete table which actually begins as a kitchen counter, flows into the dining room, and finishes in this awesome waterfall edge trimmed by 3" Steel "C" Channel base.

The entire dining portion of the table rests on a 2"x2" welded steel frame. As for the kitchen portion, the counter sits on original 50's cabinets that have been reinforced to support the drastic increase in weight.
